fished bulls bay and hit favorite trout hole at 5:30am tide was high and waited till movement of tide change. threw top water to edge of grass beds and waited did not move plug and big trout would come out of grass and exploded on plug. biggest trout 3lbs with the majority in 2.5lbs released over 20 trout in a hour of fishing and had two for dinner. as soon as sun hit water big trout bite over small trout took up the slack

It is funny that you say you just let the plug sit there. Almost every trout I have caught this year has been with a bait not moving much.. It seems that even with my popping corks I have had to let them stay dead still and just drift for the best results. Wink
